True Love

CS writes,

Fox news reported this story, Mother Delays Cancer Treatments So Baby Can Live. This mother of 4 gave life when death was certain. Driving home from work this thought crossed my mind, “What if I knew what day my life would end?” Would I hold my kids a little closer, and instill in them the values that mean the most to me? Or would I park them in front of a movie and ask them to not bother me anymore? Would I be patient and listen to their attempt at talking to me? Or would I say, “Not now!” and move on? Our lives are incredibly short.

My hear breaks for this family, but I celebrat with them the memory of one Mother who loved her child enough to give him life.

Choose Life

CS writes,

My 4 year old wakes each morning with that glow in her eyes. She has this boundless optimism that good things are coming her way. Her eyes are blue as a clear Autumn sky, but they tend to light up when something good does happen. Like when I stay home from work, that is a shock to her and she loves it. Looking into those eyes I’m caught in a bind by a sick thought of why. Why are people killing babies before they have the chance to see them bloom and grow and light up the world?

Yes, this is taking aim at a hot topic, a sacred cow of liberal understanding, but it is burning in me. Why are we living in such a cruel and cold world. A world that kills innocence and assasinates purity. A frame work of hell that crushes the needy under the mill stone of the greedy. That rips the fabric of society in half and performs some twisted patch work to bring two sides together on the grounds of human frailty and not moral authority. I don’t understand. I can’t grasp it.

Let’s juxtapose shall we? Save Innocent life or murder it?

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Deu 30:19)

Robot Abortions?

JJ writes,

A fellow Transformers fan decided to visit my personal blog CuttMedia.com and posed an interesting question about my post regarding abortion. Naturally this is silly jibberish but read our exchange:

Optimus Primate on April 1st, 2007 10:39 am e This is interesting, but what are your viewpoints on abortion as applied to robots? Should the rights of Autobots, or even Decepticons to abort be abridged? There is a petition here that says it shouldn’t: http://www.blackpitchpress.com/choice/ If you think Yes, it is OK to abort robots, but not to abort people, then you have an ethical dilemma on your hands when the day comes that people give birth to robots.
JJ on April 1st, 2007 11:37 pm e If this wasn’t such a serious topic I would have just chuckled a bit… because this is kinda funny. I was going to check out your crazy petition just for fun but my content filter blocked the site… oh darn it all. But here is my take: To abort an Autobot is to abort a friend, but to abort a Decepticon should be viewed as a preventive measure. You see I am a conservative that values the pro-interventionist policy. Kill them before they kill us. To end the life of a Decepticon would be to save innocent life on Earth and other friendly dwelling planets. Of course I am being a bit silly. But here is something to think about: As bass-ackwards as the Democrats are on (um… just about everything), Do you think that they would take up arms to defend the unborn Decepticons… even though it could mean their demise? It’s not such a far fetch question since in reality they defend every Anti-American group on the planet. Things to make ya go Hmmmmm?

RU486 Kills 2 More

When you pump enough chemicals in your body to force the miscarriage of your unborn child, what would you expect may happen? It is a drug designed to kill, how safe could it be?

God Bless South Dakota

Let’s pray the rest of the states follow suit

Gov. Mike Rounds on Monday signed legislation banning almost all abortions in South Dakota. The Legislature passed the ban late last month, focusing nationwide interest on the state as the governor decided what to do about the measure. The law, designed to raise a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade, the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, is scheduled to take effect July 1. Under the law, doctors in South Dakota will face up to five years in prison for performing an abortion except when the procedure is necessary to save the mother’s life.

Life is life

JJ writes,

Bush has finally pissed me off for the last time. His bloated spending and his lack of border security has got my head aching. But now he decides to publically challenge the monumental ant-abortion legislation out of South Dakota, sayin that it is, in eccense, too bold. His “three exceptions” rule is not intellectually sound… it’s all pseudo-political-morality.

In cases of rape and incest?? Come on, man. Anyone in their right mind and who truly believes that life is sacred, from God, and begins at conception, would never allow for the destruction of any child based solely on how he or she was conceived. If the child was conceived in an act of violence or perversion… does that make the baby less of a human? Should that baby give up his or her life for the mental well being of the mother? Should that baby be torn apart because his father was a violent, selfish, animal? These questions seem so common sense to me. Why do we even debate this crap?

I have actually met a person conceived through rape and he is a great man. Thank God that his mother cared more for his life than her mental health. Actually she saved herself from a life filled with guilt that oftentimes plague post-abortive women.

Aborting a child is never, and will never, be an acceptable option. Life is life.

33 Years of Killing Children

JJ writes,

Yet another year passes. Another million and a half babies killed by bad law. The idiocy that is the Supreme Court ruling “Roe v. Wade” has been protected for yet another year. The soldiers of the left: the angry feminazis, the liberal politicians, the ditsy moonbats, have been successful, for the last 33 years, in legally killing their unborn children.

This day, called Sanctity of Life Sunday, is a horrible one indeed. It marks the single greatest mistake of our country’s history. God forgive us for the millions we have butchered. And bless those who fight against this injustice. Amen.

Ammend the Pledge!

JJ writes,

I came acrossed this website, “Christian Patriots For Life” and read an interesting proposal to ammend the Pledge of Allegiance. The founders of the website suggest that at the end of the Pledge we should put the words…”born and unborn.” What a great idea! Christian Patriots For Life make a good point, “Until we become “One Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all, born and unborn.” our Republic-just like the unborn, is in mortal peril.” I wholeheartily concur. “Abortion: The great contradiction to everything this Republic stands for.”

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all, born and unborn.

Interstate Batteries

Thank Interstate Batteries for its good works

On occasion, a company shows its commitment to faith and family values in such a way, it deserves to be thanked in a special way.

Interstate Batteries is such a company.

This fall, Interstate Batteries and Care Net have teamed up to launch “Charged for Life,” a new fundraising campaign to help support the work of pregnancy centers across the U.S. and Canada.

Fifty percent of the proceeds from the campaign’s battery sales (AAA, AA, 9-volt, hearing aid batteries, etc.) will go to support the work of Care Net pregnancy centers. Care Net is a faith-based organization that supports a network of 900 pregnancy centers.

To bolster support for the campaign, Interstate Batteries sponsored a special paint scheme this past weekend on its NASCAR #18 car, driven by championship driver Bobby Labonte.

But there are more reasons to appreciate Interstate Batteries. In addition to helping save unborn children:

Planned Parenthood’s cartoon portrayal of a Superhero assassinating Pro-life Christians has me breakin out the duct tape!

    JJ writes,

Duct Tape ZoneAlright folks, get your duct tape ready… and wrap your heads tight! I was scanning Prolifeblogs.com and ran across this post from The Dawn Patrol. It seems as though the creative geniuses at Planned Herodhood have again found an incredibly ridiculous and offensive way to spend our tax dollars. By fantisizing about: Having a powerful black woman, with a condom gun, shoot peaceful pro-life activists, surrounding them in giant condoms. The “super-freak” then blows the activists and their “Pray For Thy Sins” signs to Kingdom come.

Dawn writes, Now, I ask you, if the American Life League’s Web site featured a cartoon depicting an ALL superhero blowing up nonviolent Planned Parenthood activists, would Planned Parenthood just shrug it off? [snip] There you have it, folks—entertainment for children of all ages, from Planned Parenthood. Best of all, you helped them finance it . . .

Why are we letting these idiots waste our money on this crap???? This is the largest abortion provider in the nation with a founder who was as close to an American Nazi as you can get. Are we totally oblivious? I have many Planned Herodhood stories that I will tell all in good time. The underhanded, low-down, dirty-rotten tactics of these folks makes me wanna rip my hair out.
