Patriotic Music CD

-[Medic]- says,

I posted this over at my blog I just wanted to get more coverage in case you guys don’t regularly read my blog.

Just before school ended a guy (Luke) I know (who is going to Iraq soon by the way as a chaplin’s assistant) gave me a CD with the following songs on it as a compilation of patriotic music and I am wondering if you guys have any songs you thing should be added to this list as I am sure it is missing some and there is lots more room on the CD. So, lemme know in the comments and if you don’t recognize the song just google for the lyrics.

God Bless the USA - Lee Greenwood Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue - Toby Keith Where The Stars And Stripes And Eagle Fly - Aaron Tippen This Ain’t No Rag, It’s A Flag - Charlie Daniels Band America Will Survive - Hank Williams America Will Always Stand - Randy Travis Till My Dyin’ Day - Brooks and Dunn Born Country - Alabama My Town - Montgomery Gentry Back Where I Come From - Kenny Chesney Days of America - Blackhawk An American Child - Phil Vassar Riding With Private Malone - David Ball (This one always makes me tear up.) Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning - Alan Jackson Have You Forgotten - Daryl Worley Letters From War - Mark Schultz (This one does too.) Letters from home - John Michael Montgomery Bumper of My S.U.V. - Chely Wright American Soldier - Toby Keith

Also, if we can add enough music I am planning on sending it to Luke with a letter along with the new version of the CD.

Clint Black - Iraq and I Roll *Great song!

I have a couple others, but you’ll have to hit me up on messenger, when I got time to look for em. And I can send em to ya.

Arlington by Trace Adkins. Talk about a TEAR-JERKER! My DAD cried when he heard it. I squalled, too, but that’s beside the point.

I have not heard that one yet, I will have to get it. Keep em coming if you can think of any more, they don’t have to all be country (although they prolly all will be).
