Cindy’s Latest Rage
Eric writes,
Sweetness & Light has an awesome post about how crazy Cindy Sheehan really is. Go check it out…he lays it out how hurricane Katrina is President Bush’s fault and everyone else is a Nazi.

Sometimes strange things happen, good, but something I would not expect.
Tucked away in the 2005 appropriations bill is a little-noticed rider that is aimed at compelling students to spend every Sept. 17 learning about the U.S. Constitution.
I started up a podcast site with my good buddy Will. It is called The Will & Eric Parade.
What is it about, you ask? Well, I’m not quite sure. But it’s still fun to listen to. Check it out!
Speaking of Al Sharpton…here is the whole story:
A driver for the Rev. Al Sharpton led Ellis County sheriff’s deputies on a nine-mile chase at speeds up to 110 mph before state troopers stopped the car, authorities said. The driver was rushing Sharpton to the airport after his visit with anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan on Sunday at her camp outside President Bush’s ranch in Crawford. The car carrying Sharpton and two other passengers was clocked doing 110 mph in a 65 mph zone on Interstate 35 in Ellis County in North Texas, said Lt. Danny Williams. The car ignored deputies’ attempts to stop it and continued speeding and weaving in and out of traffic before it was stopped, Williams said. Calls Monday to Sharpton’s spokeswoman were not immediately returned. A spokesman for his attorney, Michael Hardy, referred inquiries to the spokeswoman. Deputies arrested Jarrett Barton Maupin, 43, of Phoenix. Maupin told the officers he was hurrying to get Sharpton to the airport. Deputies impounded the rented 2005 Lincoln. Williams said his officers offered Sharpton and the other, unidentified passengers a ride to a hotel across the highway, but they declined and walked there instead. Maupin posted a total of $1,000 in bonds on charges of evading arrest with a vehicle and reckless driving.
Let’s start the Sharpton bashing

A man shoots 4 people at a Texas Assembly of God church
SASH, Texas (AP) — A gunman opened fire in a rural Texas church, killing four people and later killed himself after a nine-hour standoff with police, officials said Monday. At least one other person was injured. The suspected gunman, whose name was not released, reportedly knocked on the door of the Sash Assembly of God church Sunday night, then started firing when the door was opened.
Yet another reason why we should carry guns to church.

Laurie Roth injured in motorcycle accident….

SPOKANE, Wash. — Nationally syndicated radio talk-show host Laurie Roth was seriously injured while riding a motorcycle that collided with a deer, the Washington State Patrol reports.Read more
Laurie Roth, the Annie Oakley of the Airwaves, is still in serious condition but is expected to recover. As you all may know I am a big fan of talk radio. I listen to Rush, Beck, Hannity, and even some Dr. Laura on occation (it’s funny crap, ok!) But all us Inland Northwesterners are proud as puddin of our local hero, Laurie Roth. “Laurie Roth has a Ph.D. in counseling and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. If she can’t reason with you, you had better duck before the roundhouse kick sends you flying!” read more about Laurie
Our prayers go out to Laurie and her family and we all (out here in the Blogosphere) wish her a speedy recovery. God Bless, and we look forward to hearing you back on the airwaves soon. We love you Laurie!!!!!
P.S. she should also be put on the Republican list HERE.

Chad posted about some left-wing idiots protesting Walter Reed over at PTA. I thought I would post about some right-wing idiots here at 3G. These right-wing offenders are Babtists from Westboro Baptist Church (no affiliation with the National Babtist Church… don’t ask me) who decided to crash the funerals of some of our fallen heros of the Iraq War. “The funerals were for Staff Sgt. Asbury Fred Hawn II, 35, in Smyrna and Spc. Gary Reese Jr., 22, in Ashland City. Both were members of the Tennessee National Guard.”
So what was the reason for dishonoring our fallen soldiers, you ask? Well, these dopes claim that God has punished our soldiers for defending a country that harbours homosexuals. Unfreakingbelievable!!!!! They held up signs that read, “God Hates You” and “God Hates Fags.”
Strength is born in the deep silence of suffering hearts; not amidst joy. ~ Mrs. Hermans

I am a regular reader of Michael Yon’s blog (or Online Magazine if you prefer) and he has the most kick a** article out today that is a MUST READ. It is very long but you should take the time and read it, numerous times, then print it off and hand it out to random people, just great stuff…an exerpt:
Then Prosser’s M4 went “black” (no more bullets). A shooter inside was also having problems with his pistol, but there was no time to reload. Prosser threw down his empty M4, ran into the shop and tackled the man.
I love many (read many as 99.9% of what he writes) articles but this one is the best I have ever read, great reporting, keep it up.
UPDATE: Yon was interviewed by Hugh Hewitt last night, you can find the transcript here at Radio Blogger.
